Privacy policy
Last updated 1 October 2026
This policy explains how Being Pillar ("we") handles personal data when you use beingpillar.com and the Being Pillar CRM. Contact: hello@beingpillar.com.
Two roles
For your account details (name, email, workspace, billing details) we decide how data is used. For the CRM data your firm adds or uploads (clients, contacts, deals, documents), we process it on your firm's behalf and only to provide the service, under our data processing terms.
What we collect and why
- Account data: name, email, password (stored hashed) or Google sign-in ID, to give you access.
- Billing data: legal name, GSTIN, address and state, to issue GST invoices. Card and bank details are handled by Cashfree and are not stored by us.
- CRM data and uploaded documents, to run the features you use.
- Usage and security logs (IP address, actions taken), kept for at least one year to protect the service and meet legal duties.
Uploaded documents
We read the documents you upload for set-up only to configure your workspace and to answer your requests. Those original files are deleted automatically after 30 days. Files you attach to deals are kept until you delete them. The details you confirm (for example prices, terms and dates, with short clause excerpts) stay in your CRM until you delete them or close your account.
AI processing outside India
Documents you upload and messages you send to the assistant are processed by Anthropic's Claude models on servers outside India. Our application, database and file storage are hosted in Mumbai.
Sharing
We share data only with the sub-processors needed to run the service, or when the law requires it. We do not sell personal data or use your CRM data for advertising.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export and delete your data. Export is available in Settings. The workspace owner can delete the workspace and all its data from Settings → Workspace; GST invoices are kept as tax law requires. You may withdraw consent at any time, which may stop parts of the service from working.
Security and breaches
We use reasonable security practices, described on our security page. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.
